    To clarify: I am not schoman3 and I don't know schoman3. I just like his games and think they deserve to exist in a working and accessible form.

      Scratch is a really interesting platform to me because the work people put on it often overlapped in quality with stuff made in Flash but had less prestige. This might be explained by Scratch being a website for children, of course. Also, work on Scratch often followed trends in Flash media, from stick figure animation to the endless barage of platformers, just as in more recent years much of it has started resembling mobile games.

      But neither the age of its users nor its imitativeness really makes it lesser, and anyway, Flash creators were following Flash trends and plenty of famous Flash work was made by children too. Heck, I'm pretty sure the Runouw brothers developed much of Super Mario 63 in high school. So just as Flash media is treated seriously enough to archive, I will do the same with Scratch...

      There are still plenty of more-or-less untouched copies of schoman3's projects on the Scratch website, but alas, they are all to a greater or lesser extent broken after the Scratch 3.0 update. To my memory, this is why he unshared all the originals. If you're schoman3 reading this: first of all, thanks for your work!! Second of all, if you wanted it gone rather than just "not broken", please contact me through the site guestbook.

      This remake runs at double the framerate of the original and has generally smoother movement. There's a fairly capable physics engine I spent way too long on under the hood, but most of its power is hidden by the more faithfully simple game logic. I've cleaned up the sprites and backgrounds here and there, and made a few other minor tweaks, but only for the sake of polish.
